From Zero to Hero: How I Went From Being a Newbie Salesperson to Crushing My Quota Every Month

I never thought that one day, I would be writing about my journey from being a newbie salesperson to crushing my quota every month. It wasn’t an easy road, but it was definitely worth the effort and hard work.

Let me start by introducing myself. My name is John, and I am a sales representative for XYZ Corporation. When I first started out in this role, I had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t know anything about sales or how to approach customers. All I knew was that I needed a job, and this company was willing to give me a chance.

One of the most important things I learned early on was the importance of mindset in sales. As a newbie salesperson, I quickly realized that if I didn’t believe in myself and my abilities, then nobody else would either. I had to develop a positive mindset and convince myself that I could do this job. Once I did that, everything else fell into place.

In turn, they have become loyal customers who continue to refer others to me.

Finally, consistency has been the key to my success. I have set daily, weekly, and monthly goals for myself, and I hold myself accountable for achieving them. Even when I hit a rough patch, I stayed consistent in my efforts, knowing that eventually things would turn around. And sure enough, they did.
